One of the virtues of a good leader is his ability to stand by principles and values. While decisions are arrived at after consultation and discussion, there are times when this does not easily happen as such. These are times when the mettle is tested.
Most often people crumble under the pressure of taking the right decisions and at the same time safeguarding their image or impression. When the latter take upper hand, at the cost of values which need to be upheld, then one has lost his/her virtue as a leader - but retention of position is still possible!
