The Gospel of the day, wherein a paralyzed man is cured by Jesus, ends with this statement: They saw strange things!
Indeed, when one views with the eyes of faith, strange things abound everywhere. They are not the ones we see when we are 'normal'. Not that they don't exist, but we get so used to seeing them that we do not realize the worth of it. But when seen with the eyes of faith, we see the worth and depth of those realities we often take for granted. Hence it is not new things, but strange!
Therefore the prayer of the day: That I may see!
